Chapter 164: Welcome to the Club

"Another newcomer?"
"What's with this?"
"Is this magic on steroids, or something?" I snickered at the suggestion as Donald and I walked to the front of the crowd. I smirked at the teenage boy laying uncomfortably on the ground. It was Percy. One of the men from BloodClan that I had killed. He was the one that had went by Parakeet. He was Nova's good friend. Nova was practically squealing with excitement in the sidelines. Percy groaned softly, shifting his position and opened his eyes. Then he gasped and grabbed at his jaws; he was the one that I had cut his head in half from the hinges of the jaw. He gasped when he realized that he was in one piece, his navy green eyes wide. He gasped again, scrambling to his feet as he caught sight of everyone. He began to tremble when he set his eyes on me, his mouth quivering. "No! I don't want to die again! I won't try to stop you!! Jus', please, let me go! You can take the Sword!" I chuckled softly, walking slowly over to him. "'Ey, it's a'right, anklebiter..." He was the youngest pack member when I was still there, born in the Clan itself. He knew nothing other than the pack. Time to introduce him to a whole new world of possibilities. "We aren't gonna hurt ya, mate." I set a hand under his shoulder, and he froze at my touch, going completely rigid. He was white as a ghost, his yellow-blonde hair messy from laying on the ground. Dirt was coated so thick on his face that you couldn't see his freckles, but you could see bright white scars line where I had sliced him. "C-Commander Thorn, I was nothing if not loyal to you..." I smiled reassuringly at him. "I know. An' I'm glad ya showed the same loyalty t' Hanson. Now c'mon over 'ere, an' Twister'll explain everythin' to ya. Won't ya, Nova?"
"Yes!" He exclaimed excitedly, and Percy rushed over and into his friends arms. "I'm so scared... Confused... Why am I here?" He whimpered. "Oi, welcome to the club!" Jack laughed, ruffling Percy's filthy hair as he flew overhead and over to me. Percy looked about to faint as he took another glance at everyone. "Yup, welcome to the club."
