Chapter 82: Dizzy Spells

Even though I wanted to give him even a small break, I was curious as to why Sandy wasn't joining in any of the practice. "Why aren't ya sparrin?" I finally asked, and he stiffened beside me. He glanced around, making sure no one was watching him but me. "I'm not going to lie to you, sweet daughter of mine, as long as you don't tell anyone, and especially not Pitch," I nodded, "I've been having many dizzy spells; nausea, blurred vision, black-outs, etc...." I nodded, this time more slowly. "I figured you were lying to me that night." I mused softly and he sighed and nodded. "I apologize, I did not want anyone to worry. But I'm afraid. It's been affecting my relationship, my practice, and even just daily routines and whatnot. I don't know what is causing them..." I thought for a moment, but came up with nothing. "We'll have to look into it," I finally said, "And we're going to have to tell Merida, if you even want to hope to get better." He sighed again, but didn't argue. "Yes, Rosie. I hate to ask this... But my I ask to be excused from training until this gets better? I don't want to worry anyone, but I don't want to injure myself any further than what I already am."
"Then what you already are?" I questioned and he nodded slowly. "Pitch has informed me that there is a scar on my back, from where he shot me in the last battle we ever had." Immediately gears started turning in my mind. "We should start there. I'll come with you, and we'll have Healer Merida check that out tomorrow morning. I suggest we do it early, before daily check-ups." He nodded once more, and we fell into silence as we continued to watch everyone train.

Sorry it's short, but I wanted to give a little more insight to Sandy's dizzy spells. Ciao~! ;P
