Chapter 165: The Birds And The Bees

I was in the Sparring Hall with the rest of the army, sparring with Cupcake, when I was suddenly tackled to the ground. "Damnit!" I gasped, and everybody stopped what they were doing and rushed over. Someone was hugging me, keeping me held down. "Commander!" Whoever it was giggled happily. It was Percy. I chuckled, managing to turn over in his grasp. "Hey, Keety." I murmured kindly, ruffling his now-clean yellow-blonde hair. He stared happily into my eyes, his own navy green ones sparkling. "I'm sorry I attacked you! You looked really scary, like when you battled before." I patted his head with a smile. "Yeah, I did look pretty big and bad, huh?" He nodded and giggled before crawling off and helping me up, then hugged me tightly. "Rosie, may I ask, who is this young fellow?" Ombric asked slowly, and I turned bright eyes to everyone. Nanna and my pack members had sparkling eyes. "This, everyone, is my lil bro, Percy. But in the Clan, when he w's young an' I still ruled, he w's known as Parakeet, 'cause he likes t' chirp an' flutter around." Sandy beamed, clapping his hands a rushing over. He pulled Percy from my arms and gave him a big hug, but Percy squealed and squirmed out of his arms before hiding behind me. "F'rgive 'im, 'e's a lil shy." Sandy poked his head around me, and Percy squealed and ran away, causing Sandy to giggle. "He's cute..." I managed to hear Lucy whisper, and I grinned broadly. "Hey, hey, slow down there, little guy!" Pitch laughed, blushing when Percy pulled some of his robe to cover his face. "He scared me, though..." The boy whimpered, and I chuckled. "Of all the people he's scared of, it's Sandy!" Claude laughed. "Da! And then he goes to hide behind the Boogeyman!" North agreed merrily. Percy looked up at Pitch and paled, then relaxed when Pitch glared at North. "Oh, hush! It's not like I eat children! Quite the opposite! I love children, Percy, you don't have to worry about me. Sandy, that little man you're running from, is nothing to be afraid of, either. Unless you're terrified of being smothered in hugs, you have nothing to fear from him." Sandy rolled his eyes and gave his lover a quick peck on the lips. Percy gagged and let go of Pitch's robe before rushing back over to Nova. "Novie, they're getting all mushy!" He complained and Nova chuckled. "They're adults, they're allowed to do what they want as long as they don't get carried away."
"No, we save that for a very special place, don't we, Sandy?" Pitch purred, and Sandy's cheeks turned dark red. Jack, Luna and Bunny burst out laughing. "Oh, hush. As if you all haven't done that." They each blushed. "Yes, but maybe not as frequently as you." Nightlight hummed and Pitch blushed lightly. "You do seem to have a frequent sex life, you know. What's with that?" Ombric asked curiously, as if trying to find the answer to a scientific question. Sandy patted Pitch's hand when his lover blushed in embarrassment. "Well, ya see, Ombric... When a man and another man love each other very much, they-"
"I know about the birds and the bees, miss Maxwell, please!" Ombric cut me off quickly, his face red. I laughed softly at his embarrassment. "Seriously, though. You two, how do I put it, 'mate like rabbits'." Pitch and Sandy's faces turned dark red, Pitch hiding behind his hands. I noticed Sandy had a 'little problem' when he glanced subtly up and down Pitch. "A'right, I get it. Off, you two. You c'n take the day, t' satisfy y'r needs." Sandy nodded quickly and practically dragged Pitch out, causing a few, including me, to burst out into laughter. Many other just sat their in a stupor, blushing madly. "Novie, what are the birds and the bees?" Percy whispered to his friend, and Nova's expression only made me laugh harder.
